Do not show a piece of work/a project you
just started
to your mother-in law, or
to your sister-in-law or
to you your elder neighbour
How to avoid being hassled because
a) the mother in law would suggest that you do it in a different way or instead start a
different project that would be a better idea; b) the
sister- in- law would tell you how good she is at this type of work, hinting
that you are unlikely to do as good a
job as she would or belittle it as a waste of time, and
c) your elder neighbour
may try to take it over under the pretext of teaching you how to do it
properly, and end up doing it all herself and then claim credit for the idea.
