A mother describes the consequences of a school board’s decision to allow Muslim prayer in public schools.
The video captures an event that occurred in
one of the schools of the Peel District School Board.
Compare what the mother in this video is
saying with the way the Chairwoman of the School Board explained the decision
to allow Muslim prayers in schools. She said it is a matter of “equity and
inclusiveness”.
What does equity have to do with this? Absolutely
nothing.
And
how does this situation fit the idea of inclusiveness? It does not.
When
you hear such inanities coming out of the mouth of the person in her position,
one has to wonder whether education is too important a subject to be trusted
with such ignoramuses.
Note two other points in this video:
First, the reason why the mother chose to
immigrate to Canada and whether she would have made the same decision, had she
known the kinds of things she and her daughter have experienced to date.
Second, the Muslim students completed their
Friday prayer in 30 minutes without more: i.e. a without a sermon.
To be continued…
